Colombo: Saturday, President Ranil Wickremesinghe and visiting Indian Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan remarked that the 'Neighborhood First' policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi serves as the guiding principle for the collaboration between India and Sri Lanka.
According to reports, Wickremesinghe and Murugan met in Jaffna and attended a ceremony to dedicate the Jaffna Cultural Centre, which was built with funding from India, to the people of Sri Lanka.
They stated that Modi's "Neighborhood First" policy served as the guiding principle for the cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.—Inputs from Agencies
